A powerful experience for change
Campanile partnered with Alabama Civil Rights Tourism to create Journey Towards Justice, a deeply moving experience aimed at educators and college counselors to take a deep look at the history of racial injustice in Alabama and to look towards the future by meeting current and future leaders.
The goal: Changing the perspective on racial injustice in America and biases in education by confronting the issue head on with an immersive tour of Alabama.
The result: A powerful new brand identity for Journey Towards Justice that would convey their vital message. Bold, stark visuals conveyed the language of protest, and the history of injustice in America, inspiring attendee catharsis, reflection, and change.

A powerful yet elegant poster series, as well as handheld signage, small signage, and wearables like T-shirts and buttons reinforced and strengthened the new Journey Towards Justice message & brand.
